Atlanta Fine Art Portrait Photographers
Karen was named Olan Mills Photographer of the Year in 1995, and 1996. The company began utilizing her talent to support the entire Atlanta region sending her to a different studio each day. Sales agents for Olan Mills began stacking all sittings on the days they knew she would be in their studio to bolster sales. After the ever increasing demands of 50 sittings or more per day Karen longed to start her own business and keep to her own standards of quality in serving customers personally in a time frame she determined versus pushing people through as quickly as possible.
As portrait photographers in Atlanta we provide an ad agency experience and level of quality on every photography session. As such it requires more of an investment from the client to work with us in contrast to the business models of Olan Mills and other portrait based photographers. Our portfolio reveals images more likely to be seen in national ad campaigns than in someone’s wallet. Clients can expect an entire body of work to be captured at one of our sessions. The amount of images presented are always more than the client could possibly use outside of an album or book. From this body of work our clients make their selections for artwork that will dress their homes and offices. We are best suited for clients who wish to include portraiture as part of their interior design, seeking multiple pieces for decor and reminiscing over the course of their family’s lives.
Our portrait services include select weddings, maternity, infants, executive headshots, engagement sessions and senior portraits. One of our favorite products is the Baby’s First Year book which includes up to four sessions covering the growth span between newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and of course, Babie’s first birthday. The images are combined into a beautiful coffee table book documenting the most transformative year of your child’s life for the generations they will bring to this world.
Karen takes the time to connect with each client to engage them in a way which allows them to become comfortable during the session often forgetting they are being photographed. In our portrait sessions we encourage people to connect with each other so we can capture natural images that surpass anything we could possibly pose.
